My rates are a mix between the Editorial Freelancer’s Association’s suggestions, and what I feel my own experience is worth. While I do have some professional editing experience, I lack said experience with clients.
That being said, my current rates are lower than they will be in the future. So, if you’re unsure about paying a lot of money for an editor and you’re willing to give a newbie a chance, now’s the perfect time while I’m looking to build experience!

If you book me for both developmental and line + copy editing, you get a discounted rate. You’re free to book these together, or to come back months later… and you still get a discount! Note that this is for one project, not separate ones. If you book me for developmental editing for one project and then line + copy editing for another, the prices will not be discounted.
The bundle rates are $0.007-$0.011/word for developmental edits and starting at $0.008/word for line + copy edits.
Once you book a service with me, I’ll send a form where you get to personalize your experience! If you get my line + copy editing services but you want me to focus on copy (i.e. grammar, punctuation, etc.) then we can make that happen. If you want tone tags (i.e. /srs, /s, /gen), comments explaining all or some of my suggestions, fun in-line reactions, or anything else you can think of, then I’m more than happy to provide.
